Matthew is a graduate of Albany College of Pharmacy (2004). He is a Syracuse native who returned home to practice pharmacy here in Central NY after graduation. He worked for Rite Aid Pharmacy from 2004 until 2008, serving as the supervising pharmacist for multiple stores. Currently Matthew is employed by St. Joseph’s Health where he has served as a Clinical Pharmacist since 2008. His primary practice area is the Emergency Department where he has specialized for the last 7 years. Matthew is a preceptor for the PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs at St. Joseph’s Health as well as a preceptor for APPE students from ACP and St. John Fisher’s College of Pharmacy. Matthew is also an on-call government employee serving as an emergency response pharmacist under the Department of Health and Homeland Security for the NDMS (National Disaster Medical System) team form Central NY.
Matthew has served on the Board of Directors for the Central New York Chapter of NYSCHP since 2015. He serves as the Membership Chair, coordinating annual membership drives and working to ensure that our chapter continues to provide all of its members with the services and value we have all come to expect.
